A professional in the horse business for over 40 years, with a blend of practical hands-on
 horse farm operations and academic experience. Knowledgeable in equine nutrition, pasture
and forage management as well as the use of modern techniques and farm machinery
 for efficient and effective farm operations.

For over 10 years he has been actively involved in a farm custom contracting service associated
with forage and hay production. So, working in the Bluegrass Region and understanding
the needs of the horse business are second nature. The understanding of seasonal and climatic conditions is an important part of the success of these services.

He has traveled extensively throughout the world consulting on a variety of 
issues associated with the horse industry. While doing so, he has been able to observe 
pasture and forage management practices, seeing first hand the benefits of quality 
pastures and forage systems. Additionally, he as been able to learn new techniques for management pastures and forages. Within the past two years his services have been requested in:
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Norway,
